Time Suspension

"Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock... rang out across the narrow aisle, until... I saw it, there! There, dangled in the faint light, the Sphere. All was silent, the rhythm died away, and never ending silence, enveloped the darkness."

Through the following sound art installation, the artist tries, through the static subject-stimulus-response relationship, to stir in the observer, the actor of human existence, by means of the suspension of time, the discovery of himself and the search for truth. By seeking act (maièutica s. f. ([from Gr. μαιευτική (τέχνη), propr. "(art) midwifery," "midwifery," der. of μαῖα "mother, midwife"]) s/he gives life to, that is, draws out as mother, a midwife from his/her own soul his/her own existence, his/her own essence, placing himself/herself as observer calling on the saving power of time to project himself/herself into the future, into the life.
